 About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children’s Home Manager to join a leading care provider in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a residential home that supports children and young people, ensuring they receive the highest standards of care.

• Location: West Yorkshire (view map) 

• Vacancy type: Permanent role

• Rates: Up to £49,76 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s home, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and standards.

• Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.

• Provide guidance and support to staff.

Qualifications 

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children’s Residential Management (or a willingness to undertake training to achieve this).

• NVQ Level 3 or a Social Work Qualification.

• A commitment to register as a manager with OFSTED.

• Proficient numeracy and literacy skills, equivalent to General Certificate of Secondary Education or above in English and Math's.
