Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with gynae and hernia repair procedures, including laparoscopic surgery. 

  • Provide direct surgical assistance to the operating surgeon throughout the procedure. 

  • Work collaboratively with the surgical and multidisciplinary team. 

  • Maintain a safe, sterile operating environment throughout each shift. 

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation. 

Requirements: 

  • Valid Surgical First Assistant certification. 

  • Proven experience assisting on gynae and hernia repair (laparoscopic) procedures. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a surgical team. 

  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
