Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver skilled nursing care across Scrub, Anaesthetic, Recovery or Surgical First Assistant duties, depending on your specialism. 

  • Prepare theatres, instruments and equipment ahead of each procedure. 

  • Provide direct support to the surgical team throughout each case. 

  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team. 

  • Maintain a safe, sterile operating environment throughout each shift. 

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation. 

Requirements: 

  • Valid Specialist Training Certification relevant to your theatre specialism. 

  • Full evidence of immunisation. 

  • Proven theatre nursing experience. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a surgical team.
